For over 40 years, Hewitt has offered an apprenticeship training program to prepare those who will be taking over. This two-year program includes theoretical and practical classes held in workshops and on the job site. Each year, we hire young graduates who have a specialized training and we, in turn, train them on Cat equipment. Between the apprenticeship program and the continual training of technicians, Hewitt can be guaranteed of the expertise and know-how of its technicians who, on average, possess between 10 and 20 years of service.
More than 100 Field Technicians
Our field technicians receive a specific technical training that turns them into the most experienced in the industry. They are able to make all kinds of repairs, anywhere, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
Workshop Technicians
Our workshop technicians master the necessary abilities needed to adequately evaluate, diagnose, maintain, repair and restore Caterpillar equipment at all our branches.
Resident Technicians
Being established in remote regions, our resident technicians have the responsibility of satisfying their customers' needs, both as a technician and as an adviser.
Technical Advisers
Our technical advisers are responsible for operations and sales in so far as managing problems related to products, breakdown analyses, and technical support to the branches.
