LEXION Combines in North-America
1997 represents the start of a joint-venture between CLAAS and Caterpillar Inc., bringing the LEXION combine to Caterpillar dealers and North-American farmers. 

In 2002, CLAAS became the sole owner of the Omaha plant and started operating as CLAAS Omaha LLC. As a subsidiary of CLAAS KGaA, CLAAS Omaha is responsible for manufacturing, sales and support of all LEXION products sold in the U.S. and Canada.
