The new Candiac branch is now open!
New Hewitt Equipment Limited Branch in Candiac!
MONTREAL - February 2, 2011 - Hewitt Equipment Limited is proud to announce the opening of its new Candiac Branch.
The new Candiac branch is located in the industrial park, near the junction of highways 30 and 15, and replaces the branch located in St-Hubert. The actual building has approximately 76,000 square feet (7,000 m2) of floor space which is close to five times the surface area of the former St-Hubert Branch.
The Candiac Branch offers, among others, eight service bays for the Heavy Equipment Division, four service bays for the Truck Division and of course a bay dedicated to service for the Material Handling Division. The branch will also be the centre of excellence for Metso crushing and screening equipment.
Representing an investment of some $16 million, the branch will play a major role in bolstering our strategic positioning on the South Shore of Montreal and throughout the Montérégie area. Together with the branches already established in the region (Mercier, Rougemont, Napierville and Montréal Hydraulique), this additional presence clearly shows our determination to constantly expand our Service par Excellence.
As of February 1, 2011, the bulk of our activities will have been transferred to our new Candiac branch. We invite our clientele to visit us at 350, Liberté Avenue in Candiac.
